Life has its fair share of stresses, such as your health, wealth and your job! What we need to remember is that there are some stresses we can control and some that we cannot. And worrying about what we cannot control is a futile exercise.
The day of this shoot, the weather forecast was for torrential rains – an uncontrollable stress! So the worst case scenario was getting wet hair and the best case scenario was these photos! I am glad that Hartman’s parents took a chance and gave me the opportunity to capture these memories for them. And by taking a chance showing me how to dance in the rain again.
