I often think about this past year and how we all, in an instant we went from running around, like everyone does in New York City, to isolating within the four walls of our apartments. Something we couldn’t even fathom was possible. For me it really hit home when I saw someone at the cashier at a Wholefoods, packing their groceries into their suitcase. And, I am not talking about a little carry on but a full size suitcase that could fit a Great Dane. But, yes, it was “New York Strong” moment to see everyone hunker down and follow the Stay Home mandate. It all happened in an instant.
So last week I posted about this beautiful family expecting their 2nd child and in an instant they had their baby girl and I got to capture the beautiful family again with their newborn. What feels like an instant on social media isn’t always that instant and we always forget the effort each creator must have gone through to curate the perfect image, blog, post and reel. And I can safely say it probably didn’t feel like an instant for the mum who had to carry and birth this beauty baby girl ๐
