The great thing about Roosevelt Island other than the Tranquil FDR memorial is the views it offers of the New York Skyline. You can enjoy the skyline minus the hustle and bustle. Nestled between the East River and Queens this island is only a fun tram ride away from Manhattan.
The other great thing about the Island is its pink rain boot clad resident called Zafira. Initially shy this little 2 year old will welcome you into her world, one smile at a time. Thank you for taking me on a tour of the island, next time I will bring boots to match 🙂
