People often talk about sibling bonds and/or sibling rivalry. Siblings grow up to be best friends or each other’s best competitors. Growing up together, fighting and having the same life experiences is what forms the love and bond between siblings.
I was lucky to capture such a bond on a cloudy Saturday morning. With Riley’s cheeky smile and Stella’s blue eyes, I didn’t know where to point the camera. Riley was running as fast as he could away from my camera and Stella was running straight to wherever Riley was. I could see the love in Stella’s eyes for her bigger brother and Riley’s loving “annoyance” at his little sister. When they are older and learn to team up and play together is when they will realize that they almost have their parents outnumbered and then the fun can really start!
